An Evening with Recompose & Community Partners

Death is one of life's greatest teachers, yet it remains one of the conversations our culture is least prepared to have.

Join Entheo Church for an evening exploring death with curiosity, reverence, and compassion. Together, we'll visit Recompose, Seattle's human composting facility, to learn about ecological death care and how our final act can become a gift to future generations.

Following the tour, we'll gather for a conversation with a local Death Doula, exploring how intentional end-of-life planning, ritual, and community support can transform the experience of dying—for both individuals and their loved ones.

We'll also examine the growing body of research surrounding psychedelic-assisted end-of-life care, including current evidence related to existential distress, anxiety, and the search for meaning during life's final chapter. This discussion will be educational in nature and grounded in ethics, harm reduction, and spiritual care. No substances will be provided or administered.

Together, we'll explore questions such as:
