What is a Hearth?

A Hearth is a local gathering circle within Entheo — a community of practice where members come together for reflection, ceremony, learning, and service. Each Hearth carries the same roots of sacred reciprocity, entheogenic wisdom, and Earth-centered ethics, expressed through the unique ecology and culture of its region.

  • Our founding Hearth in Seattle, WA meets regularly for seasonal gatherings, integration circles, and community offerings in the greater Seattle area.

  • For members outside the region or those who are unable to join in person, our Virtual Hearth offers connection through digital spaces, teachings, and shared practice.

  • If you feel called to hold space where you live, you may apply to become a Hearthkeeper. Hearthkeepers tend the sacred fire for their local communities, embodying Entheo’s Tenets of Faith, Code of Ethics, and the spirit of sacred reciprocity and service.

(This pathway is currently in development. Please be patient with us as we unfurl intentionally.)

Prospective Hearthkeepers will begin by completing the ordination pathway, a structured formation process that includes study, mentorship, and community practice. Upon ordination, Hearthkeepers may apply to open a local Hearth with the guidance and support of the Hearth Council.

If you’re interested in this path or wish to connect with an existing Hearth, please reach out to info@entheochurch.org. We invite you to join our Virtual Hearth in the meantime while we work on developing this process.
